  • How do I check for air leaks in a vehicles hydraulic brake system?

Having replaced a faulty brake cylinder (rear) I am having trouble bleeding the brakes again. The seems to be air getting in somewhere because when bleeding there is always air coming out and it doesn't stop after a time. Is there an easy way to check for where the problem/leak might be? There doesn't appear to be any hydraulic leaks visible.

  • Hearing problem......?

I have always had trouble with my hearing, but I'm not exactly sure what the problem is...

I can hear the all the sounds, but they get jumbled up sometimes. So I can hear a voice, but I have difficulty understanding the words. I always watch movies with english subtitles so I can understand the dialogue. I find song lyrics very difficult to work out.

I had a hearing test when I was a child, and because I could hear all the tones at the right volume, they decided my hearing was normal. I'm beginning to think the problem is not with my ears, but with brain....

I can't afford to go to an audiologist. I just want to know whats going on. Can anyone shed some light on this?

  • Windows media player issues, please help!?

Warning: I am somewhat computer illiterate...

I just went to play a dvd using Windows Media Player, but I got an alert that says:

Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings.

I tried that, but it still wouldn't play. Not only that, but after I ejected the disc than put it back in again, the bloody computer thinks its a blank disc! I've tried it with 3 different discs, and had the same problem each time.

I've never had problems playing dvds until today. This is really beginning to piss me off. How do I fix this?

  • Name of this childrens picture book?

I am trying to remember the name of a childrens picture book that I liked when I was a kid. I don't remember much of the storyline. It was about a child that imagined everyday objects to be wild animals: a garden hose became a green snake, etc There was a picture of water buffalo around a water hole.

Thats pretty much all I can remember, but if someone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

  • What causes a budgies cere to collapse?

I was in a pet store recently and some of the budgies seemed to have collapsed/caved in ceres. It looked really awful for the birds, I'm sure they must have had trouble breathing.

They were both males and females and housed in an aviary.

Any idea what could have caused this?

  • Youth Tours Europe?

I'm heading over to England for December and January. I wanted to do a Contiki tour of Europe, but Contiki all but shuts down over the winter.

Can you tell me the names of any other companies that are similar to Contiki that do tours for younger people? (18-30year olds).

  • Does anyone know?

I saw this movie when I was younger, although I can't remember that much of it.

I'm pretty sure there was a bad woman, possibly a criminal, who was cloned, and her name might have been Anne or Annie?

Its an old movie, 80's or early 90s, probably made for tv.

    Sorry to be so vague!

  • Maine C**n too PC?

Why do people put the stars in Maine ****? I understand that it is an offensive word in other contexts, but surely not when talking about cat breeds? We refer to female dogs as bitches even though that is an offensive word in other contexts. So what is the difference? Have we all become too PC?
