I have two computers in the same house.

A DESKTOP & A LAPTOP--------------------------------------

My laptop is wireless and the router goes through my DESKTOP'S cable modem.

I've tried and tried again to connect my laptop to my desktop so I can view and share some of the files on it but I just can't seem to get it right.

Someone please help me figure this out i've googled it but found no solution

Today I called my ex only to find out what had happened a couple of hours earlier. She told me that her brother Brad had been fondling/sexual abusing her daughter who I consider my own. Alex, the little girl is the one that had told them this. I know it's not a lie because of how detailed and descriptive she was, and also the fact that he is a registered sex offender. At this time they're not calling the police because they're afraid that Brad(the offender) will be killed in prison for being a pedophile. They've kicked him out and are going to pursue emergency custody but that's certainly not enough punishment. He needs to be in prison - if he dies in there so be it. Someone please help me, I'm only 17, I dont know where or how to go about reporting it. I was thinking about calling the police but it seems like they wouldn't act immediately .. All answers are welcome. Btw I'm a friend of the family for 10 years

I know you can use windows "remote desktop" feature to view your desktop from another computer but that's not what I want to do as that requires quite a few steps and I need to be able to do it tonight. What I was wondering is if there's any free websites that allow you to remotely view your computer desktop or just view files without having to use the remote desktop feature that vista offers. I know there are such sites but most of them require some sort of fee. Do you know of any free websites such as the ones I'm talking about?

Is it possible to have Two task bars in ""ONE"" monitor in windows Vista. I know how to make another folder toolbar but i want some kind of software to make it so i can have a "REAL" task bar on the bottom and 1 on the top. = 2 tsk bars

Does anybody know how or where to get free ringtones from and send them to my cell for free. Also is there any good software for this.
