  • 7 month old and flu and h1n1 shots?

My peditrician has suggested many times for me to get my daughter the flu vaccine and the h1n1 shots. I am worried about either because she has been healthy and not sick so i'm afraid of either. I have heard of infants that get the flu when the have the flu shot so i should naturally be worried about h1n1 but is it really as bad as what people are saying and should i get my daughter the shot when i dont feel like she needs it.

  • Braxton Hicks or Is this Real?

I woke up at 9 something this morning and have been having lower back pains off and on all day. They are extremely painful and last for about 30 seconds but they are coming about 5-10 minutes apart. This morning they were 5 minutes with little pain then they increased in time and now they are coming about 4 minutes with horrible pain. I am wondering where they are coing at different intervals if they are braxton hicks or actual contractions. During my whole pregnancy I have neither had either so I dont know if i'm experiencing the real thing or not. I am also 39 weeks and as of the other day i wasn't dilated or lost mucus plug. Also i just went to restroom and think i may have lost plug..is it suppose to be real gooey? I am just wondering if anyone could help.

  • Other options besides Epidurals?

I have not ever wanted to have an epidural when I have my child. I am going on 38 weeks and I am just wondering what other options there is. I have not had a chance to discuss this with the doctor yet and haven't really found much online. So if anyone has any other way let me know.

  • 7 1/2 Months Pregnant and Walking?

I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and I am a fulltime student in college. The way our campus and my classes is layed out I have to walk either up steps or a hill to get to class and there are never any parking spaces close. I have pain in hips, pelvis, among other areas. It hurts when laying down or trying to rol over or walking long distances. The question here is:

Should I hurt so much to walk around the campus, sleep, or just lay down? I am worried becasue this is my first child and I'm not really sure if all that I'm experienceing is ok or not? I can't arrive earlier at college than I do now **early class** and all parking spaces are away from building where I need to go. Should I be worried about the pain and walking around campus?
