Ariadne

Yesterday evening I was thrown onto the floor and ever since the space between 2 vertebreas in my upper back hurt. I've been leaning forward and not using my back too much, because it hurts when I even slightly arch my back. I'm worried because it's been almost a day now and not getting any less. I've never had this before. Is there a chance I have a hernia? Is there anything I can do right now? Should I even worry?

I live on an island and it's storming, so I won't be able to go see a doctor just yet. Hope you can help!

My boyfriend proposed about 1,5 ago and we got engaged. I was happy as ever and completely opened up to him. Ever since I met him, I'm convinced he's my soul mate. We met in Europe and as he is Australian, we decided to move there.

However, upon arriving, things started to get worse. His mother tried to make all decisions for him, his friends use soft drugs and dragged him into that and we had to deal with a loss. We decided he had sort himself out, as I couldn't deal with it. A day later, his mom had him committed into rehab/psych ward. It broke his confidence and they seriously drugged him (ironic).

Our sorting out time turned into 9 months of hardly any contact, leaving me in complete uncertainty. However, my love burned as strongly.

Now, we're back together. He said he was ready. The mother and drug problem are much worse than before. We haven't really talked about marriage. He mentioned in a drunk mood that he'd marry me for my visa, but I think he assumes the engagement of 1,5 years ago is off. Also, I'm more closed up, afraid of getting hurt again.

Does he still love me like he did? And does he still want to marry me for real? Or am I the girl that he already knows, and is thus easy/convenient to be with?

I really don't understand and I find it hard to breach the subject. What do I do?
