  • Anyone have stories on a successful frozen embryo transfer?

My son was a successful IVF and I have 2 frozen embryos that I want to use. This will be my last chance to try to give Jack a baby brother/sister. My husband is 47 and I'll be 37 in a couple of months. Since we're not exactly young anymore if this doesn't work then we're done trying. Can someone please give me some success stories of their frozen embryo transfer to help keep me optimistic and less worried? We have been trying on our own since Jack was 4 weeks old and he is now over 9 months old and so far nothing yet. It took us over 2 yrs to get Jack with failed IUI's and finally a successful IVF. We're still trying for a second baby but feel time is running out for us. I have always wanted 2 children of my own and want my son to have a playmate b/c I hated growing up alone.

  • Can I pass a stye to my baby?

I woke up this morning with a painful stye in my eyelid this morning and is swollen. It started sometime late last night and began to itch. I assumed since we were out "trick or treating" in the heavy wind that something just hit my eye. I removed my contacts and am about to put some hot compress on it for a bit. We are supposed to be going to a 1 yr old birthday party in a few hours but I can just keep my distance from others if needed. I've read different sites stating styes can be contagious. The problem is I am a stay at home mom and don't want to pass this to my son if it is contagious. It's been many years since I last had one of these things and from what I remember it lasted about 4 days. If it is contagious, how am I supposed to take care of my son? My husband can't miss work and at this time we can't afford daycare. Any advice?

  • any suggestions on how to handle ex-husband?

I divorced a very abusive and alcoholic husband over 8 years ago who still to this day will not stay out of my life even after I moved over 27,000 miles away from him and started a new life and am happily remarried. He and I used to do photography when we were together and now he is stealing my work and displaying them as his work. He is also displaying images of me which I never gave him permission to do. I have told him before he needed to stop stealing my work and to destroy all prints he had of me but apparently he hasn't b/c I just found another site (a friend told me about it) of his with my work and images of me on it. He has no money so it doesn't do any good to suit him for he has nothing to go after. I just want him to stop displaying my work as his and stop displaying pictures of me. If we were anywhere near him my husband would go kick his @$% b/c he's fed up with my ex- behavior. Can I have an atty just write a letter or is there any other suggestions? I already reported to the site he uses about the stolen work and no permission to display but so far they are still on the site. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Is using a stationary bicycle a good way to lose weight pretty quickly or would a treadmill be better?

It's time to get back into shape and lose a little weight but don't want to do too much too fast since I am trying to get pregnant again. I had my son 9 months ago and want to lose as much weight I can in a healthy way before I get pregnant again. I've heard the 2nd pregnancy weight can sometimes be doubled from the first and if that does happen I'll be a huge balloon! After I have my 2nd child that is when I will push myself into some heavy cardio exercises and toning. But for now want to do simple exercises. I have a treadmill but wonder if a stationary bicycle would do me better or use in addition. Any suggestions?

  • Can someone answer my curiosity on why married men save naked pics of women on their phone?

I'm just curious and trying to do the impossible...understand man's thinking. Why would a married man save a bunch of naked pictures of different women on his cell phone? I know men look at porn and it's a normal behavior. He can look at whatever he wants anytime on the internet but why save pictures on his cell phone??? Just curious.

  • How can I get my husband to change positions during sex?

I am getting more and more aggravated with my husband on this issue. He absolutly refuses to try any other positions other than missionary and it's always the same "speed/tempo". I'm ok with it most of the time but I need a change once in a while. His excuse always is he doesn't feel anything in other positions and the couple of times (a long time ago) that we did change he went soft. He's now getting aggravated with me because a lot of times it takes me a long time (sometimes not at all) to have an orgasm. I used to never have any problems achieving orgasm and sometimes would have multiples! I have told him many times I want to do a different position and have asked him to "help/stimulate" me but he won't yet he ALWAYS wants me to lick his nipple to help him orgasm! It's always the same routine. Let me explain how it ALWAYS is EVERYTIME. We go into the bedroom (never anywhere else, it has to be in bed), he goes to his side of the bed and I go to mine, we take our clothes off, he puts on his lube, which I don't really like because he always uses way too much, works himself up a little bit, tells me to get in the bed, climbs on top of me, he always wants to enter with him a little soft and says he likes the way it feels getting hard when he's already in me yet this does nothing for me, he gives me an occasional little kiss, always keep his eyes clothes through the whole act and the only thing he changes during the whole act is his shift from one elbow to the other. When I eventually do (if I have one) orgasm as soon as it's over he says it's his turn lowers his chest to my mouth for me to lick his nipple to help him orgasm which usually takes only a couple of minutes. Afterwards, he rolls off of me, cleans up, gets dressed and goes back downstairs to watch tv. He never lets me go down on him nor does he on me. He has never even touched me down below, we have never done any foreplay and I have asked many times for us to do it but he doesn't say anything. The other day was my ovulation day and it was our routine except I didn't get to have an orgasm and we did it again last night just for a little extra "seeding the egg" and again I didn't get to have one. When we were done I gave him an upset look and he got mad at me and said I take too long and this was just about "seeding" and to not look at him like he's a selfish b@&$ard and he refused to talk about it and changed the subject. I have tried talking to him many times and he either ignores me, changes the subjust, says ok just to make me happy and the subject ends or he gets mad, says what he wants then walks away before I have the chance to say anything else. Don't get me wrong, he is a good man and I love him very much. We have a great marriage with only this issue that I know can be helped. I just don't know what else I can say or do. Anyone have any tips?

  • Any advice on assisting my husband's "troopers" so we can conceive?

I just found out I am ovulating today and am ttc. My hubby has a slow and low sperm count. Our first son was an IVF and now we're trying on our own for our 2nd since we no longer have the insurance to cover for another IVF. I want to take every advantage of helping my husband's "sluggish troopers" however I can to reach their destination! Don't laugh at me. :-) Anyone have any tips that could possibly get a connection this time? We've been trying since 4 weeks after delivery of my 1st and I would like for them to be close in age. This is the first time I have ever been able to detect my ovulation. For years it's always been hard to detect and with 3 failed IUI's and finally a successful IVF I am hoping we can finally achieve this one on our own. I've already warned my husband we are "getting busy" and for him to be ready when he gets home from work and we're going to have an instant replay again tomorrow just in case my egg decides to hang around a little bit longer. I told him to do whatever he needs to do to be ready. Hopefully he will give them a little pep talk before their race begins, lol! Any ideas on how I can help?
