Thoughts on a thigh tattoo?
I'm considering a decent sized tattoo on my outer thigh (just above the knee) and about 8 inches by 5 inches, but am curious if anyone who has a tattoo in that area has any feedback? Did that area hurt more than other areas? Was the healing progress the same as, say, a smaller design on the arm?
10 AnswersTattoos9 months agoIn Star Trek: Picard....is Soong's "son" really Lore?
There are so many references that I just have to believe that A.I. Soong is really Lore in disguise. What do you think?
2 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 year agoTell me about your tattoos!?
I love hearing about other people's tattoos, and why they got what they did. Also, did any of your ink every have an effect on your job?
I have 10, spread across my arms, chest, and neck. Never had a problem with jobs, and I've done everything from retail, to restaurant management, running my own successful bakery, and now I'm a public school teacher.
7 AnswersTattoos1 year agoPeople with tattoos, what is your favorite/most unique tattoo?
Tattoos can be so beautiful and meaningful. I'd love to hear about yours!

I'm scheduled to take the test next month to get a cross-endorsement on my certification, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the test and could give advice on what to study.

Though I live in New England, I was born in St. Louis, so I'm definitely a Blues girl. My husband is a Bruins fan. lol
16 AnswersHockey2 years agoWhat are your Christmas traditions?
My family started celebrations last night by going to church to hear my husband's grandfather sing the solo of "O Holy Night" in the church choir (the one time of year we go to church). We then came home and let each kid open one gift. Then packed off to bed.
Now I'm baking cinnamon rolls as our traditional morning food, and will wake the kids and hubby up for Christmas gift unwrapping, followed by watching a movie together (probably Miracle on 34th St, the kids' favorite), and then dinner with the grandparents this evening!
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoDo you think middle/high school students should be able to have a cell phone at school?
I'm a teacher at a middle/high alternative school. We've had a lot of issues with kids and cell phones. They are completely distracted by them, playing games, listening to music, and not paying attention in class.
We told them yesterday that starting on Monday they will be required to turn their cellphone in at the door in the morning, and will get it back at the end of the day. Needless to say, there was mass meltdown.
It's not like parents couldn't get in touch if they needed to, they could call the school and the kid will be brought to the phone.
What do you think?
15 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education3 years agoWhat happened to the Republicans?
Since last November, all they could say was "You lost, get over it. Stop crying." Now that they lost an election, all they can do is cry and whine and complain.
Guess what. YOU LOST! The people of Alabama have spoken!
10 AnswersPolitics3 years agoShould the US protect hate speech?
Every liberal democracy has laws or codes against hate speech – except the United States. Should the United States protect hate speech? Does hate speech do more than just “offend” the people or groups it is directed against? Does hate speech have any value?
8 AnswersPolitics5 years agoApple iPhone 5s - Possible to connect multiple Bluetooth devices?
If I am in the car, listening to music on the car stereo via a Bluetooth connection to my phone, is it possible to have the music playing on the stereo, but calls routed to a Bluetooth headset?
I say no, my husband insists it's possible. Who is right?

I have 2 female rabbits, they have been cagemates for almost 2 years. But recently one of them started plucking fur the the other (top of head and on back). The other rabbit is now developing bald spots from this. Any idea why this is suddenly happening, and how to stop it?

12 AnswersMovies5 years agoDo you agree with the recent overturning of the lifetime ban on gay men donating blood?
It is now just a 12 month deferral, instead of a lifetime ban.
I think it's a good step, but still not enough. After all, a gay man in a monogamous relationship can't donate unless he doesn't have sex with his partner for a year, but a promiscuous straight man with hundreds of sex partners a month can.
13 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWhy did God create atheists?
There is a famous story told in Chasidic literature that addresses this very question. The Master teaches the student that God created everything in the world to be appreciated, since everything is here to teach us a lesson.
One clever student asks, "What lesson can we learn from atheists? Why did God create them?"
The Master responds, "God created atheists to teach us the most important lesson of them all - the lesson of true compassion. You see, when an atheist performs an act of charity, visits someone who is sick, helps someone in need, and cares for the world, he is not doing so because of some religious teaching. He does not believe that God commanded him to perform this act. In fact, he does not believe in God at all, so his acts are based on an inner sense of morality. And look at the kindness he can bestow upon others simply because he feels it to be right."
"This means," the Master continued, "that when someone reaches out to you for help, you should never say 'I pray that God will help you.' Instead for the moment, you should become an atheist, imagine that there is no God that can help, and say 'I will help you.'"
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoIf you go to hell for being bad...?
Why wouldn't Satan reward you for it? Why does he make you suffer? WTF? I'd be like, "hell yeah, motherf...let's party!"
Alternatively, if Satan punishes sinners, why isn't he considered good?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoIntroducing new rat?
I have a female medium rat who is 6 or 7 months old. I just bought a new rat (a little bit smaller and younger). The new one is in quarantine right now.
Does anyone have any tips for introducing the two in a way that will be safe and easier for both of them?
2 AnswersRodents6 years agoRay Rice and media portrayals of gender and violence?
In 2014, football player Ray Rice was videotaped assaulting his (then) girlfriend. He was later convicted of 3rd degree domestic assault, suspended by the NFL, and ultimately fired by the Ravens.
Do you think the phenomenon of high domestic abuse rates in male orientated sports has anything to do with the over population of violence by men against women in the media? How about the culture in which males are raised (having to be "tough" and "in control" in order to be considered a "real man")? How do these ideas related to the Ray Rice case specifically?
4 AnswersMedia & Journalism6 years agoWhy do all those "Christian" county clerks who are refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples disobey God's decree?
They claim they are refusing to issue marriage licenses, despite being ordered to do so because of their "religious convictions". Do they not realize that God commands that people listen to governing authorities?
Romans 13:1-2 "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves."
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy do conservatives not understand that Trump would be the dictator they claim Obama to be?
Trump has zero respect for the Constitution. If he was ever elected, he would immediately name himself King and try to take over this country as a dictator, and not a President.
