Years and years ago I read the first book of GOT. I didn't like it that much. Too dark. So I never watched the TV show. Now the TV show is all anybody ever talks about. Should I try rereading the books or skip the books and go straight to the TV show?

I want to cut down on the amount of oil I use. I got one of those oil sprayers in an aerosol can. I was thinking I could save money and be more environmentally friendly if I bought a reusable oil sprayer.

Amazon has dozens of different kinds.

Can anyone recommend one that sprays a mist, doesn't get clogged, and is durable.

I've been struggling with this for months. The directions on the box don't seem to work. I use 1/2 cup oats and one cup soy milk. I've tried less soy milk. covered or uncovered. full power or less. 3 to 5 minutes. The one thing that I sort of figured out is that a ceramic bowl is important. Sometimes it comes out watery. Sometimes it boils over.

A. That's cool. But I could never be vegan.

So I just learned from Dr. Greger that I should be including Tumeric in my diet on an almost daily basis. I use it in my tofu scramble which is not something I make very often. What else should i use it in?

Just found out about this movie by the guys who did Cowspiracy. Sort of what Cowspiracy did with environmental concerns this movie does with Health concerns.

Oh yeah. i know this is a statement thinly disguised as a question.

When I first starting thinking about being a vegan it was the library and books. But books are so 20th century. Later it was podcasts. Now I get news and info delivered right to my inbox. And sometimes i watch a YouTube video. But I don't seem to have a favorite anymore. So I was wondering if thats typical or maybe I'm missing out on something.

I'm torn. if i buy some Beyond Meat I'm supporting Tyson. But at least Tyson isn't investing more money into chicken factories.

So when I run I have an app for interval training. It tells me how fast to go and for how long. and when to rest and for how long.

I was wondering if there was an app that i could just listen to after i set it up. it would tell me what exercise to do and count down the sets and reps.

I'm a daydreamer and sometime I lose track of what set I'm on. it would be great if an app kept track of it for me and reminded me what to do next

Mine used to be SparkPeople. but recently I've converted to Cron-o-meter. I like cron-o-meter better because the graphical display is just so much simpler to read and understand. but it doesn't have as large a food database.

Do you like one or the other? or a different one?

I have always used canola oil. I thought it was the best for cooking and i used olive oil for salad dressings.

but i just read an article that said canola was a bad choice. What should i use for cooking?

I have a 99 Honda Prelude. I've tried a couple of different cleaner/polishers but I only got it a little better. Is there something that can be done? Should I replace them with original equipment or an after market product. Anyone have a success story?

I loved his series "Cooking" and "Botany of Desire". He also makes guest appearances in "Cowspiracy" and "Food, Inc". Two of my favorite documentaries. He clearly is not a vegetarian or vegan. But he obviously knows where his meat comes from and seems to be sympathetic to vegans. The cows at the Nunnery looked like they had the best life. and the pigs for the BBQ only had one bad day. He seems like one of the "good guys". But....

To encourage them and other restaurants to include vegan options. What about vegetarians? Do they need to support Burger King, Subway because they have veggie burgers. By the way, Taco Bellnow has a Vegetarian Certified Menu.
