Need help, can't remember the name of movie?
Can't remember but I think I've seen it back in 2003-2005. This movie is rated PG or PG 13. It has final fantasy graphic like Advert Children, but not part of the Final Fantasy. It took place in futuristic time
I remember that in beginning, it showed a short battle between the rebel soldiers and the combination of well-equipped solders and mech. There was this govt. general/commander who was wearing heavy armor. He was talking to officers when a surviving rebel young age man fired his sniper at the general/commander but the armor shoulder blocked the shot.
The rebel got captured and general/commander decided to take him as prisoner and parade him around in the city as a sign of victory. General/commander has a daughter who has a flying robotic chick (baby chicken) as pet.
After talking with her father, a daughter goes to parade. Later, a rebel regained his consciousness and escaped from 4 legs mech and took daughter as a hostage. They ran away to some low class section of super giant city.
They suddenly became friends and daughter went home, have argument with her father and some annoying politician who have long black hair and is always escorted by some tall robotic looking figures in long black trench coat and have metallic looking claws.
In the end of movie, this politician turned out to be greedy and revealed his back to be covered by bunch of red glowing leeches which he used them to get blood from general/commander daughter to pilot robot but daughter us

1 AnswerHomework Help9 years agoA question about employee being fired?
Is it legal or ok for employer to fire employee without any reason and/or notice (in advance)? Is it alright for employer to fire employee who has done nothing wrong, without any reason? Should employer tell employee why he/she (employee) got fired?
This just happened to one of my friends, who came home, disappointed and confused, because employer did not tell her why she got fired.
Like this:
Boss: Sally, you've been doing great jobs and I'm pleased with your performance. Unfortunately, you're fired. Pack your stuffs and get out.
Sally: "What? Why?"
Boss: I'm not liable to tell you why you're fired. Just pack your stuffs and get out.
Last question, employer and employee signed the contact that stated that employee can NOT be fired for any reason, can employer break the contract and fire employee?
I want to know.
4 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoWhat do you think about...?
Kids who go to college and still live with their parents?
Do you viewed them as weak and worthless kids, living off their parents money? Do you do viewed them as they're doing what necessary of them?
What age do you think is "acceptable" for kids to move out of parents house? 18? 19? 25?
I mean, what's society view on kids, after graduating from high school, going to college while staying with their parents?
Seem that since unemplyment rate of teen is higher than age over 25 yrs old, more kids staying with their parents.
2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture10 years agoAbout economic profits...?
Is it true that barriers to entry force economic profits to zero in the long run for most industries?
I would say false, because in perfect competition, industies don't make economic profits. But not sure.
Also
is it true that the law of diminishing (marginal) return applies to both the long run and short run?
1 AnswerEconomics10 years agoQuestion about sole proprietorships?
Why isn't more of the nation's output produced by sole proprietorships given that they are so numerous?
This question confused me. Is it because that they can't raise sufficient funds? Or they don't want to spend more money and just keep profit? Is it because of legal liabilties?
1 AnswerEconomics10 years agoFor those who good at Microeconomic or figuring out economic profit?
Not sure how to tackle this problem, concerning investment. Ok, here's the problem.
Problem: Mary left her teaching job, which paid $20,000 per year, and invested $20,000 of her retirement fund (which was earning 10% interest) in a new real estate business. Her accountant predicted $50,000 revenue for the first year. Her husband, an economist, forecast her economic profit to be...
a) $10,000
b) $22,000
c) $28,000
d) $50,000
Here's how I thought, I take $20,000 and multiplied by 10 percent and got $2,000. I did $20,000 plus $2,000 and got $22,000. But I have no clue what to do with $50,000 revenue. Do I just do $50,000 minus $22,000 and get $28,000? Or that's not right? Revenue count as accounting profit, right?
Because I look at the book and it said
economic profit equal accounting profit minus opportunity cost.
2 AnswersEconomics10 years agoHow to gain experience in bookkeeping/accounting?
How do I gain experience in bookkeeping/accounting, if I never have job, while attending college for degree in Accounting, and only hold high school diploma?
I mean, what of job can I do with high school diploma and with no job experience, aside from few volunteering experiences?
This is rather depressing time and I'm guessing some of you goes "Heh, tough luck", "You shoulda get job during high school years", "pathetic jobless", and stuffs.
2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment10 years agoFor those who good at macro-economic, please help!?
I have several questions that I'm confused about.
1. In market economy, who make the decision regarding allocation of resources?
Is it authorities in Washington, D.C or planners in state capitals?
2. Bob and Mary each been doing their housework. Bob decides to hire Mary to do his housework, and in turn, Mary decides to hire Bob to do her housework. How does the result of this change affect GDP?
I think it doesn't change GDP at all, because it's same work being performed in both cases? Am I wrong? Because I don't know whether it mean Bob and Mary doing Bob's housework, and later, Bob and Mary doing Mary's work or not. So confused.
3. If actual inflation is less than the expected rate of inflation, then who win? Does borrower gain at the lender's expense or is it other way around? I'm thinking it's the lender, because borrower is overpaying? Is that true?
4. Is it true that if the government imposes a price floor in a market, we would expect to see a shortage of that good and over-investment in that activity?
I think it's surplus, not shortage, because government is probably saying the price of that good is too high. I don't know about over-investment part.
5. If one of the main advantages of capitalist economic system is efficiency, what are two potential problems with the capitalist system?
I think the two potential problems would be market failures and monopoly. Not sure if I'm right or wrong.
Please help! You don't have to answer all of them, if you don't want to.

Ok, I have this writing project about institution's discourse and I have trouble understanding the discourse, institution's discourse, and what are oral, textual, and non-linguistic realms. Could someone explain some or all of these?
What is discourse? Is it like when military use "Jarheads" as to refer to newcomers? Or is it like American spelled "humor" and British spelled "humour"? If not any of these, could you give me an example?
Note: I'm not asking for answers, I just want to understand.
