1 AnswerElections9 years agoHow do you refute this?
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?”

9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agohow does Christianity deal with aliens?
The universe is simply to large for there not to be other advanced civilizations, there could even be other civilizations within our galaxy, how does the bible hold up against this, is the god of humanity the god of aliens? Did Jesus come for those not of this earth? If not what of the aliens, if we are made in gods image who's image would they be made in? Jesus was human (supposedly) was there a Jesus on every planet? Seriously human centric religions would probably collapse during first contact because they make no sense anymore.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoRaptor Jesus, he went extinct for your sins.?
The complexity of Creation and 150 million year dominance of the dinosaurs is undeniable evidence of Raptor Jesus.
It takes more faith NOT to believe in Raptor Jesus.
1 Sauropods 4:13
Then Raptor Jesus spake and saith, "Thou shalt inherit the Kingdom of Pangaea if thou shalt honor me. But if thou shalt not honor me, thou shalt be tormented for ever."
Repent.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy do people think speaking in tongues is real?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NT_8vVlG_VA&feature...
thats not real, people dont speak in tongues they make it up to look more holy or more wrapped up in the holy spirit. People who have freak outs and babel nonsensical sounds need to be checked and subsequently removed from the gene pool. Now i have no doubt that many of they actually think they are speaking in tongues im sure they genuinely believe they are communing with god. That does not make it true, quote the bible if you want just because a book is 2000 years old doesn't make it true, modern science is only a few hundred years old people before the advent of modern science had to explain things and they used religion.
The irony of religion is that because of its power to divert man to destructive courses, the world could actually come to an end. The plain fact is, religion must die for mankind to live. The hour is getting very late to be able to indulge in having in key decisions made by religious people. By irrationalists, by those who would steer the ship of state not by a compass, but by the equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken. George Bush prayed a lot about Iraq, but he didn't learn a lot about it. Faith means making a virtue out of not thinking. It's nothing to brag about. And those who preach faith, and enable and elevate it are intellectual slaveholders, keeping mankind in a bondage to fantasy and nonsense that has spawned and justified so much lunacy and destruction. Religion is dangerous because it allows human beings who don't have all the answers to think that they do. Most people would think it's wonderful when someone says, "I'm willing, Lord! I'll do whatever you want me to do!" Except that since there are no gods actually talking to us, that void is filled in by people with their own corruptions and limitations and agendas. And anyone who tells you they know, they just know what happens when you die, I promise you, you don't. How can I be so sure? Because I don't know, and you do not possess mental powers that I do not. The only appropriate attitude for man to have about the big questions is not the arrogant certitude that is the hallmark of religion, but doubt. Doubt is humble, and that's what man needs to be, considering that human history is just a litany of getting **** dead wrong. This is why rational people, anti-religionists, must end their timidity and come out of the closet and assert themselves. And those who consider themselves only moderately religious really need to look in the mirror and realize that the solace and comfort that religion brings you actually comes at a terrible price. If you belonged to a political party or a social club that was tied to as much bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, violence, and sheer ignorance as religion is, you'd resign in protest. To do otherwise is to be an enabler, a mafia wife, for the true devils of extremism that draw their legitimacy from the billions of their fellow travelers. If the world does come to an end here, or wherever, or if it limps into the future, decimated by the effects of religion-inspired nuclear terrorism, let's remember what the real problem was that we learned how to precipitate mass death before we got past the neurological disorder of wishing for it.

1 AnswerOther - Electronics10 years agoI need a MAC address changer that will work with my Netgear switch?
Hey guys do you know of any programs that will rotate a set of MAC addresses. My school only allows a 500mb upload limit per MAC address per 24hrs now i have a switch in my room (Netgear FS105v2) that is has my computer and my xbox hooked up through it. I need a program that will change the switch's MAC address every 499 mb or 6hrs or whatever from a pre set list. I also need to know how to change my switch's MAC address in the first place. Any ideas?
Skype and torrents can eat up a significant amount of upstream bandwidth Skype will hit 500mb in just 2 and a half hours and add in the vent server i host and it becomes a bit of a problem.
2 AnswersComputer Networking10 years agoWhy is The Pirate Bay being sued?
The pirate bay is essentially a search engine that aggregates torrents in one easy to find place therefore it is as liable for illegal content as Google or Yahoo or any other search engine? Never mind the fact that torenting files is essentially sharing them, the files are being shared across the internet no one is making money and somebody had to buy the file originally, it is simply a really efficient way of letting others view your media.
