My family is switching to Sprint and through Amazon Wireless we're able to get any Android smartphone for a cent. I want to get the Galaxy S2 because it seems to be the best phone Sprint has to offer right now, but I know the Galaxy S3 will likely launch in April or May. I have a terrible phone that hardly works right now, so I don't know if I can wait that long. Plus, it's rumored the S3 will be $299 with contract, and we definitely couldn't afford that. Should I wait for the S3 or just go ahead and get the S2?

Also, a side question. My parents aren't great with technology, would they be able to work the S2? If not, which smartphones from Sprint would be better for them?

I was alone and driving home from cross country practice. I was just driving out of the park we practice in, I hadn't even made it to the real road yet so I thought it'd be okay if I changed the radio station. Well, one minute I'm focused on that, the next suddenly my car is plowing through the stakes they have set up on the side of the road and pretty much plowed over a tiny bridge (I know the word bridge makes it sound big, but it was really just a few planks nailed together to get over a small ditch). The front bumper is very smashed up. I just got my license a month and a half ago and I was driving my dad's best car that we haven't even paid off yet... the insurance is going to be SO expensive and I doubt my parents will ever let me drive again! School starts in a week, too, so I'm really upset I probably won't be able to drive to school. I don't even know why I'm asking this question, I just can't stop thinking about it and worrying about it. No one was in the car with me and as far as I know I'm fine, the airbags didn't even go off. How can I get my parents to trust me again? I've definitely learned my lesson. I can't stop thinking about it and I just feel so awful.

I was trying to text one of my friends, asking if she was going to one of my other friends' surprise party.

But I accidentally sent it to the birthday girl (we'll call her ashley)! And I specifically said her name in it!

I sent her a text instantly after I sent the first one and put the last name of another kid with the name Ashley in our school so she'd think I meant it was their surprise party. Ahhh! Do you think she'll believe it?

So tomorrow is my first cross country race of highschool and I'm running varsity. It's not really the varsity thing that makes me nervous, since this race the jv is mixed in with varsity too. It's just that my first race is tomorrow! I was nervous in middle school cross country, so of course I'm nervous now.

Do you have any tips on coping with these nerves? Also, any race strategies that might work? Should I sprint the first 200m to get ahead of the pack or should I go faster then settle into my pace early?

Alright, so I'm a freshman. I switched my geometry teacher, so I have to drop one elective I have now to fit into my new teacher's class. This has left me with a problem... I basically have to choose between art and robotics. Neither of these would be my first choice, but here's the thing.

I do need a fine arts credit, and I want to get it out of the way freshman year. However, I'm not the best artist. People have told me that the new art teacher is really cool and he doesn't grade on how good you are, but I don't know. I would be willing to try on every project, I just don't know how good I'll be.

Robotics doesn't sound great, but I'd be willing to take it. The teacher already really likes me, and although I don't know how great I would be at that either, I'd be willing to take it.

What it comes down to is this: If I were moved to robotics I would have Spanish and World Studies with a few good friends of mine.

However, if I did art I'd have PE with my best friend and a few other friends but I would have English with a bunch of kids I don't really like, and a few I could tolerate.

I just don't know.. can anyone help me choose? I want that fine arts credit and to be with my best friend, but the other option sounds good too!

So this year I have only one class with two of my friends. That's all. I am pretty much alone in all the others, and it really, really sucks. I'm shy, so making new friends is difficult for me. The thing is, if I switched English and Science I would have both of them with my best friend. Do you think I should change classes? And how would I convince the counselor to let me switch them around?

So I have these two "best friends". We'll call one T and the other G. T and G are fine when they're not with each other ( T can be really mean though ). It's just when they're together they gang up on me and always try to make me feel stupid (I'm not though.. I'm smarter than both of them, they just gang up on me because that's the only way to make me feel bad about myself I guess). They're rude, and I'm sick of both of them actually. I haven't told them how I feel, and I don't even know what I would say. They decided we are all hanging out today since my birthday's tomorrow, I really don't want to though. I always have an awful time when all three of us are together. Please help, I don't know what to do! All I know is that I DO NOT want to go hang out with them today!

Our first meet is tomorrow and I'm really nervous. I'm in 8th grade and I get around 3 minutes ( i know, not so good especially compared to highschoolers ) but the best person on our team runs about a 2:50-55 so i'm okay if you look at the team. I'm really nervous and I need the best strategy. I'm more of a distance runner than a sprinter, should I stride out the first lap then get faster the second? Or take a different approach? Help!

So I'm doing a project for class and we have to represent and orographic thunderstorm in a creative way. I really need help coming up with an idea, does anyone know of any ways?

I'm making a project for class and I need to have a creative way to show the way an orographic thunderstorm works. I'm looking for something more creative than a diorama.

This is my first year in cross country. I'm in 8th grade. I really want to get better and make the A team! In my school there are 7 girls on the A team and the rest are B. I haven't run all summer and I do have to stop and walk sometimes. I just got new running shoes that are really nice and that helped me a lot today when I ran in them! But I really want to be able to make it without stopping tomorrow and I want to be able to be on the A team. Please give me an advice/tips you have! Thanks.

So today was the first day of school and I liked most of my classes. Except for English. There are a bunch of popular people in that class and I'm just normal. I'm afraid that I will have no one to partner up with when we have to choose partners for assignments. There are a few girls that are kind of weird (that is not the right word to use but I can;t think of any other.. I'm not a snob!) and I'm afraid I'll have to be with them and have the popular girls and guys laughing at me. I need help with getting closer friends with people. I know a lot of the popular girls on okay terms but they wouldn't consider me for a partner in class probably. How do I stop being so shy around the popular kids?

My old 3 year-old Mac laptop broke last winter, and I feel I'm financially secure enough now to get a new one. The problem is, Mac is just too expensive for me, otherwise I would probably just go with a Macbook. I have been looking around several stores and I've narrowed it down between two computers, both at Best Buy. One is a Gateway (which I am a little hesitant about but have been told is better these days) and the other is an Asus.

I am going to be using this computer quite a bit, but the only real game I would play on it is the Sims 3. I might play a few free online MMOs as well, but I don't think those take as much as a real game does. I would be on the internet a lot, and I would need to be able to store all of my music on this laptop. I really don't know which one of these to choose because I'm really not computer-savvy enough to understand all of the details. For what the Gateway has, I think it's a really good deal. I'm just not sure of the quality of it. And the Asus has from what I can tell pretty good features, and might be better quality than a Gateway. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

A few months back he asked me out but we didn't get the chance to talk to each other again for months until now he started going to my church again. Basically I haven't talked to him since he asked me out and I think we're both shy of each other and don't really know what to say to each other... Sometimes I think he still likes me though. Like, when I'm with my friends and we pass him at church he'll talk to him and not meet my eyes like he's either shy or just doesn't like me. :\ And then I catch him looking at me out of the corner of his eye a lot. And at a lock-in thing we had when I walked in he looked at me and said "Oh, you're here!" I didn't know what to say so I just looked at him funny and walked away. God, I need help. Do you think he likes me and is just shy or just doesn't feel the same way anymore? And what should I say to him to start a conversation? I really want to talk to him before the school year is over!

This guy asked me out a few months ago and I said yes but I have had no way of contacting him. I dont know his number and I don't have any classes with him. I've seen him in the halls at school and he'll look at me out of the corner of his eye and look away. Then at church one time he saw me and was like "Oh! You're here!" and I didn't know what to say so I just looked at him. I felt really bad about that. Then today at church I was talking with my friend and he came up and started a conversation with her for a minute or so and he didn't make eye contact with me. I'm wondering if he's shy and the reason he talked to her was so he could talk to me or what. Do you think there's any way that he still likes me?

This is the only day that it's going to be nice out this week and we're going to be outside for youth group. Is it too slutty to wear denim shorts to church? I guess they're kind of short but their the only shorts I have and I really want to enjoy the warm weather while I can. It's not actual church service either, it's youth group.

Tomorrow I'm filming a video for something and I want to look as good as possible! I've had a breakout on my chin for about five days now and It's turned into three huge red pimples. I really want to get rid of them by tomorrow! I've been putting retin-a on them every night but it doesn't seem to be helping. What can I do to get rid of these pimples overnight?
