    Cell types involved:

    IgE-mediated is called a Type 1 hypersensitivity reaction & involves mast cells.

    Delayed-type is called Type IV hypersensitivity and involves T-cells & macrophages.

    Now stop screwing around on Yahoo & go back to studying for the boards.
