Is this why Atheist are so adamant on this site?

On the contrary. The reason I asked this question was because I kind of felt bad for possibly making Christians doubt their faith and becoming upset. I wanted to find out how people react when losing their faith. Fortunately it seems once people get over the hump they are really not upset about it anymore. I am quite secure in my views.

I see very few atheists that are prideful and full of themselves. But you definitely are, with your superior attitude trying to make us feel less than worthy. I am saving this question to use when christians start talking about how mean atheists are. I will then post the link to this question. Hope you enjoyed your little rant. It WILL live on.

Amazingly religious believers do not like it when someone else states an opposing opinion and can support it with logic. Religious followers for millenia have shoved their beliefs down our throats and think that it is ok, but you do not like a taste of your own medicine. Well either keep your beliefs and religion to yourself and do not talk outside of church about it, or expect that within today's world that the non-believers (whose ranks are growing quickly) are going to push back and show how mentally weak you are and your beliefs are childish. More and more people are leaving religion these days, finally thinking for themselves, and realizing that religion is just big business and corrupt.

I can't believe that people are that stupid... that they can't fathom the possibility of a person to live a happy, fulfilling life without the need for a 'higher power'. Atheists don't worship themselves... Satanists do. Atheists don't worship anything.

You couldn't even fill a teaspoon with what you know about atheism. You could fill a tank with what you assume you know, though.
