if you really like this guy, go for it. but first ask yourself WHY they don't like him. is it cause hes different from what they like in a guy or is it his personality? does he have a history of violence or drugs? is he a cheater? if he has bad negative behavior, leave him alone. but if your friends are just hatin, then go for it. you shouldn't need for friends permission to be with someone you really like.
