chickens on town?
can you have chickens in town? my brother lives in town in napoleon ohio and wants some chickens for eggs. any sites would be very helpfull too!! thanks!

I agree, check the codes for where he lives and that will tell you everything you need to know.
Some places allow you to have chickens, but only hens because they don't make as much noise as a rooster. I hope the info you find is for the good...everyone should have chickens, they are so fun to watch!

It depends on the regulations for your town. Your brother needs to check with the local government for laws or ordinances pertaining to keeping poultry within the city limits.

Better check it out first but i doubt it.We can't where we live.Livestock usually can only be in the country.
