Well, this depends very much on your ethics, when you say download what do you mean, download and pay for, or download and steal copyrighted material for free,. there is a huge difference. Try before you buy is not really any defence.

P2P programs like kazaa and shareaza let you download these things illegally as do bittorrent sites. basically free downloads means bad idea. File sharing utilities usually mean poor quality or fake files, probably containing virus or trojan horse files. Possible come backs like copyright theft is possible seeing as tho they can get your IP address. Go legal, movies can be downloaded at a fraction of the price from legitimate sources, take that route.

better to pay for it and be legal than face thousands of pounds outlay for a crap copy of harry potter..........

limewire is a good program for downloading. not sure where to get it, but i got it.

lime wire is easy but u cant download it by album, Itunes you have to pay, napster isnt that much though, there are others that i dont know of... keep looking
