Should be police be held accountable for their bungling in the "pumpkin" case?
How many stuff ups can people make before someone has to pay. Talk about evidence right under their noses! And now that awful father has been given almost a weeks free time to escape and disappear to anywhere. He's probably back in China now and will never be found.

No, I think the father is still in America. No matter how long the police took to find the body, sadly, she was already dead. Maybe the real question is why pumpkins mother wasn't sufficiently protected in the first place? She had a protection order AND their neighbour heard an awful fight the day she was last seen. Why didn't the neighbour check on her? Or at least call the police when she heard the disturbance?
I believe he will be found. I'm sorely tempted to go and hunt the b*stard down myself.

No because they have to be very careful how they go about things in gathering evidence. They need to go by the book. I wouldn't be surprised if the father turns up dead himself (suicide) as he is suffering from depression. At least the little girl was spared and will now get a better home life hopefully. Yes it is tragic for her but with help, love and living with family she will get thro the dark days.

Yes, and only if there is enough evidence to suggest that mistakes were made. We can debate this issue until the cow's come home, but as you well know, we are not privy to the actions that went on with the investigation, but you can be assured that our media will be looking for answers.

Yep they were a bit slow on da uptake wif dis one but tell ya wot i wudnt wanna do there job - stuff up, overlook or woteva dey can carry on doing wot dey do cos like i said i wudnt do it! I juz so hope dat lil pumpkins future will be a happy one.

I don't think so.
Even if they had found the body, they wouldnt have been able to do anything with it, untill they had a search warrent.
They would have got into trouble for looking without a search warrent

wot about us being the comunity y didnt we come forward,y didnt we come forth with the fact there was a strange car outside the premises with no doubt a weird smell coming from it.i think as a comunity we have to pull our weight and stop leaving it up to the boys in blue...they wont let the a**hole get away they will get him.....

i think it was kinda a bit weird how the police didnt even think to look in the boot of the car where the dead mother was
