sick cat!!?
my cat is sick!!! yesterday morning when i went to feed him and my goats ( he is a barn cat by the way) he had a really runny nose! and whenever he would sneeze it looked like drops of water was coming out of his nose. now his eyes are gating kinda goopy and his nose is still the same. my dad said we should give him this antibiotic called like parimicen or tarimicen or something like that. we did not give that to him cause i dont know if that would be bad for him. should take him to the vet or just see if he gets over it on his own?!?! also he is not around any other cats that i know of and he has like never gotten sick!!! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!
ok thanks for your help. we called the vet and they said to come pick up a shot and he will be fine.

What is this cats history ? Is he current on all his shots ? It could be an upper respiratory infection or if he is not current on his shots it could be MANY other things. Being an outside cat I am sure he has contact with other cats on some lvl. Terimycin is a ointment used for eye infections and if that was all your cat had it would be fine to use but this sounds like something more. I would take kitty to the vet.

I'd speak to a vet ... he will have contact with any number of animals so could possibly pick something up from them ... plus cats do tend to roam quite far, so he could have come into contact with another cat at some point. Try and get him in the house if possible and keep him warm, fed and make sure he's drinking enough water. Try and get him to a vet asap ... I wouldn't recommend giving him anything that isn't prescribed for him as you don't know about the doses or even if these antibiotics are suitable for him. Hope he's ok x

It relies upon on the placement. If the canines is whelping a muddle of domestic dogs or a cat has a sprint diarhhea then the 1st option could be to handle it at homestead to make certain if the placement gets greater advantageous. And whilst waiting human beings can ask different puppy vendors in the event that they have any recommendations on a thank you to handle the situation and ask for known advice. If it does not get greater advantageous then the subsequent option is the vet. some human beings do have some hum dingers on right here, yet for the main section the questions are solid, valid ones.

He has a respiratory infection. You have to take him to the vet to get antibiotics...Terramycin is an antibiotic for the eyes, which is probably fine to use, but won't clear it up because the runny eyes are stemming from the cat having a cold. You need Clavamox or something else.

Take him to the vet asap!!. Some cats and mostly farm cats get colds that turn into a respatory infection where they have stuff come out of their nose and eyes sometimes and thin infection can and will kill them if its left untreated for to long. So take him to a vet as soon as you can.

It would be a good idea to get him to the vet. Different antibiotics are good for different things, and what you have may not be good for this situation.
In the meantime monitor his food and water intake. If you are concerned that he's not eating offer him strong smelling food like tuna.

I agree....take him to a vet. Never try and treat the problem yourself...go to a professional.

take him to the vet b.c who knows you may think he has something else when he has something worse, things like that happen.
