the iphone costs more than the other ipods, but it has a shorter battery life and is more fragile.
the LCD screen is huge and takes up most of the ipod, and LCDs are fragile. one drop on the floor and youd prob have to buy another ipod.
plus, theres still reports of black spots on the screen, where certain parts of the screen will soon become unresponsive to touch. you wouldnt want that to happen would you, esp where the 'play' button would be.
and finally, since it is an ipod, i should say this: apple is notorious for using planned obsolence on their ipods. yes, the ipod is cool and all, but apple already has plans in works to create a better thing by the end of the year or so to make more money, thereby planning on purposely making your ipod obsolete.

personally i would not get one
the least expensive is like what 8 gigs?
that leaves you basically no space
if you want movies on there that takes up about 1.5 gigs each
you need to have wifi to use the internet
and that takes up space also
that would definitely limit your amount of music you put on
also the lcd screen is on half of the whole thing
they are incredibly fragile
i would recommend the classic
the lowest you pay is 250
long battery length
more storage
what else do you need?
