Now that the UN has declared that a World recession is a very real possibility, what are YOU going to do?

Its on the News, and in the papers - the Recession is coming . What are you going to do to prepare, if anything, and who do you think will fair best? Do you think its just scare mongering, or a realistic prediction? I'm interested in your views.

I'm stocking up on basic foodstuffs and supplies, and planting a huge vegetable garden in the spring. The cost is trivial and I reap benefits even if there is no big economic disruption. It's certainly a possibility, especially in the USA, where we have allowed the money changers to take over the temple. Still, as has been pointed out, economists have accurately predicted 8 out the last 3 recessions, so I wouldn't do anything drastic. Yet.
