At my back, I lay,

Almost closing my eyes;

I was not asleep.

I rolled over, then I said,

"What did I do today;"

I stood up to my feet.

Giving out a large sigh,

And walking towards the piano,

I felt a sudden chill.

It started playing alone!

The music kept going on...

Calmly listening to the song,

Somehow it was so deep;

The tune never left my mind.

All I knew it was a dream;

Now, all quiet and queer,

Time just passed by.

Forgetting the music

Once I heard in my head,

My memory run dry.

Again, in bed, laid my rear.

Whispering "Good Night,"

to both my ears.
