i have a cavity that you can see?

currently i am out of my country and can't see a dentist until july. my dentist knows that i have a cavity on one of my top front teeth... it became that way b/c it was chipped due to the fact that i grind my teeth. i noticed today that i could see it start to show (a dull dark spot showing thru to the frot). im scared bc i cant do anything about it for a few months. will it get incredibly worse looking within the next 3 months or so, or will my july appointment be good enough? there is no possible way for me to see a dentist sooner than july. will i look awful before then???

Update:

im hoping that brushing 2x a day and avoiding sugar will be enough to prevent it from getting to the point where ill be embarrased to smile. there is no dentist here (im working remotely on a small island and taking a plane home just to see the dentist is really expensive). do you think that within three months it could get so bad that itll be really noticeable? i mean right now im pretty sure that i can only notice it.

Don't freak out! Make sure to keep it clean, brush it gently 2 x per day; avoid putting pressure on that area by eating in that spot or any other type of way(like using your tooth as a tool) - hopefully it will keep til July- there is no way to know about teeth- sometimes they have a mind of their own. It does seem like these things happen at the worst times, doesn't it?
