I'm having trouble hyphenating Spanish and other foreign last names.?

I'm sure that this information is in style manuals somewhere, but I'm not finding it. It's simple when it's Perez-Chavez. But what if a married name is tacked on, as in Spanish? Perez-Chavez de Murillo, say. Do you add more hyphens? Are Italian names in English with "De" usually with caps and stuck together, "DeBello," for example? And what about last names like "de Vries"--suppose that it were "Hilda Sepùlveda-de Vries," or would that be Hilda Sepúlveda-de-Vries," or Hilda Sepúlveda-deVries." Of course, if the lady is married, she might be Hilda Sepúlveda-Carrana de de Vries. This kind of thing comes up where people want to display all their distinguished and/or foreign ancestors--is there some way to make this intelligible in English?

In Spanish, when women get married, they usually keep their maiden name, but some women choose to replace their maiden name with their husband's. When a woman uses her husband's last name, she adds a "de" in front of the last name. (It's like saying that she is "of" by the husband's side of the family. Kinda.)

An example: Roberto Perez and Dulce Trejo get married. Dulce can change her last name to Dulce de Perez.

And then when the husband and wife get married, they may combine both the last names of the husband and wife respectively for their child's last name. When the child has kids, usually only the father's last name goes with the child.

Another example: When Roberto and Dulce have a child, it would be redundant to name the child Francisco Perez de Perez. Right?

So I think the examples that you gave are very rare.
