Seventies local TV show?

In the mid seventies, while I was a student at Eastern Illinois University, our cable company in Charleston carried an Indianapolis station, Channel 4, as I remember from the commercial "Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and Channel 4" that they had borrowed from the Chevy ad of the day.

This show was called Cowboy Bob's Corral, and had a puppet character called "Sourdough the Singing Biscuit". The human host was the guy who played Cowboy Bob, and he also did a show on Sundays called "Outdoors in Indiana".

Does anybody else remember the show and does anyone know who the guy was?

Have you tried emailing the TV station to see if anyone there can give you the information? I bet someone there either remembers the show or can direct you to someone who does.
