perspiration is a method of excretion.

Excretory waste r the result of metabolic activity so it can be considered as metabolic water.

But the water we breathe out is not metabolic product.

It is just the result of breathing process which occurs due to pressure changes inside the lungs.

Some of it probably is, but metabolic water is not kept separate from water we drink.

And we do need far more water than our metabolism can produce.

We drink a lot of water. Most of the water we excrete is from the water we drink.
