STOP DRINKING SH#TTY BEER!
Move to the good stuff... Belgian Ales... White/Wheat Ales... American Craft. Don't drink mass marketed crap.
Which tastes better? The hard.. tasteless chocolate chip cookie you get in a bag at the grocery store or the soft chewy made with care one that you get at the bakery?
The bakery, right? Why wouldn't the same be true for beer?
Try:
Ommegang
Dogfish Head
Chimay
St. Bernardus
Great Lakes
Rochefort
Unibroue
Brooklyn
New Holland
Founders
Two Bothers
Rogue
Stone
Heck, just go down to your local brewpub and ask what the bartender likes. Just please... for the love of gawd stay away from the yellow fizzy piss water that InBev, AB, Coors-Molson and Miller call beer... It isn't... It is yellow fizzy piss water.

Honestly, you need to experiment on your own. I brew beer and can tell you that not every batch of beer is the same. So if you get a Blue Moon and really like it then don't be surprised if the next time you get it there is a slightly different taste (although the brewers will try very hard to keep it the same). I would recommend going down to your local pub and just trying out what they have on draft. I've tried hundreds of different beers and haven't even scratched the surface of the possibilities of beer. The bitter flavor can come from a number of sources. One source is brewing the grains at too high a temperature. The husks of the grains at higher temps will impart a very bitter flavor to the beer. But this isn't desirable and so it shouldn't be in any of the commercially produced beers. Another source of bitterness is hops. But hops can impart so many flavors that I wouldn't shy away from them if you are experimenting. For instance, some hops give the beer a pine flavor. I hate it, but some people like it. The pine flavor is common in many American beers. Other hops give the beer a more citrus flavor or a floral aroma. So again there are huge variations in the hops. I find that Spaten's Lager is a good crisp beer. Many of the porters out there are going to be less bitter (try a vanilla porter). The saisson style is a good beer for non bitter beer lovers (they can be very floral). I'd avoid the IPAs for now if I were you as well as many of the English Ales. Also check out the so called white beers like the hefeweizens and wit beers. They are less bitter. Coors makes Blue Moon which is a popular wheat beer and I know that Budweiser does as well but I don't know what it is called. But try out some smaller less commercial brewers. Experiment.

beer doesn't taste bad. you might not like the brand you're drinking right now but it doesn't taste bad. you want bad tasting beer add salt to your beer. that'll make you appreciate the real good taste of it.

Beer is an acquired taste, you just have to get used to it. Try different types (and there are many different types), you're bound to find something good about at least one or two.
If not, then beer is just not for you, and that's ok too.

Beer is really an acquired taste. You're probably drinking shitty beer...just keep looking around until you find one you like.

Well ! there's a saying that if even poison is given to someone with the hands of the person whom that someone trule loves then he happily consumes even that that too knowing about it that its poison....
It reveals that taste is immaterial and yes what matters is who is asking you to have that something...
ha ha ha ha ..... That Saying is true but my answer I think does not fit you...
