how long is a quarter-life crisis?
how long does a quarter-life crisis generally last? im 27 and totally lost. i mean, im in a great relationship and have great friends but when it comes to things like what i want to be, im totally lost. ive had some great long-term jobs but i eventually got burned out. ive just been feeling kinda like a loser lately because theres nothing about me really that im proud of anymore. everything seems so unimportant now... guess thats b/c as i aged i learned about how trivial alot of things can be? just want to get back on track again, but am clueless.

First, get to know yourself better. Go to the website below and take the free test, if you answer the questions accurately and honesty, you will learn reams of accurate info about you:
http://kts2.personalityzone.com/user/register.aspx
Once you've taken the test, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-briggs and scroll down to the paragraph titled: "Type dynamics and development" and look to the right at the rectangle titled "The Sixteen Types" and find your four-letter type and click on it, and read about yourself! If you answered the questions on the test honestly and accurately, you'll be amazed at how well you're described!
Then get alone with a tablet and think about what you want to do with your life. Write a list of the possibilities. Make it a project spanning as long as it takes, but at least a week or so, when you go back and edit your list, add to it. Try to match what you learn and already know about yourself to potential careers. And you need to figure children, if you want them, into the equation.

Do you have children? If not maybe you should think about planning for some and that would give you something to look foward to and a better outlook on your self worth.
