How far is the island of Santorini from Athens?
What is the quickest and cheapest way to get here? Would a day trip be ok just to look around? (already have accomodation booked in Athens so cant stay in Santorini). Thanks.

It's 127 Nautical miles, Takes approximately 7.1/2 (up to 10 Depending route and ferry type,) hours by ferry, Less than 1 hour by Plane, Or there is a high speed Hydrofoil that will get you there in around 3.1/2 hours.
The main ferry port in Athens is in Piraeus, this is about 1 hour from Athens airport.
