Alot of guys are different. You got the guys that will ask you out, the you have guys that will play it subtly where you'll see them more often than usual, do nice things for you, have more conversations with you, give you notes, tell a friend, look at you and wink. You'll know. Good luck:)

Amen to the always nice to your friends part. They will try to be just one-on-one with you in social settings, and sometimes they over-the-top flirt with other girls to get your attention, but most of the time, they're up front. Just remember, to a guy companionship and emotional security (talking, being together, etc) isn't something they try to get from everyone, like girls. They'll start initiating texts with you, etc, because they're looking for that. Also, they might not talk to you because they don't know what to say- a tupid trait I've found in guys "in love."
