Do you know when the version 2.40 is coming up?
I know the 2.36 just came out but I heard it's dumb because there's really nothing that has been improved there
And I heard that 2.40 will have in-game XMB and trophies? - Is that true and when is it coming out?
Also any 1 here knows when HOME for ps3 is coming out?

it is true that there will be an in game xmb and trophies in 2.40. they announced that it will be coming soon with no specific date. home is now confusong me because the beta was supposed to come in june or july but now is coming in fall. there is no final release date but they have announced that it will be coming in 2009. eight days and dthe getaway got canceled for the production of home. and did you know that killzone 2 is finished and that the reason its delayed is beacause sony doesnt want to many fps out at the same time during the holiday season. (resistance 2, socom confrontation). hope this helped :)

2.40 is speculated to come out very soon. Within 1-2 weeks hopefully. It could even be sooner but that is not likely. It will include in game XMB access and will have trophies.
2.36 was just one of the "fixes stability of select playstation format titles" upgrades. It wasn't new features or anything.
Home is not coming out for a while.The beta is still going until fall of this year. Home will probably not be released until 2009.

Something big is happening Tomorrow the PSN online network with be totally shut down on June 24, 2008, starting at 8:00 a.m., Pacific Time Ending on June 24, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., Pacific Time.
So I think we'll see the 2.4 update this week.
The invite only Home Beta is taking place right now.
The Home beta is being expanded in July.

A a million.ninety one firmware replace might basically be to restoration minor subject concerns with the a million.ninety firmware and because there is at the instant no longer something minor to restoration, there probably isn't a a million.ninety one firmware. As for the two.00 firmware, no person somewhat knows for particular what would be in it, besides the undeniable fact that that's been rumored to launch with homestead and/or in-game XMB. no person (different than perchance for somebody at Sony) knows what would be in the two.00 replace or while it is going to come out, yet individuals are looking forward to alot from it, so save your arms crossed that it comes previous to later. wish this facilitates!
