I use splenda...My doc told me it was fine to use splenda and a dietician told me that they haven't found anything wrong with splenda and I even asked her about the site they have on splenda....I still use splenda. But hey to each there own.

I've researched artificial sugar substitutes in the past and am happy to tell you that Splenda is fine to add to tea if you need that extra sugar. I think the suggestion of adding honey or lemon is an even healthier option though. If you want the sugary taste, Splenda is a good way to go. It tastes the most like sugar out of the substitutes. It also does not contain saccharin, which is a known carcinogen in large amounts, and is found in Sweet'N Low. Happy sipping :)

Splenda is not real good for you. HAve the green tea without splenda or anything else for the most health benefits.

Splenda is not good for you at all, you might as well be using normal sugar wich I'm sure would defeat your purpose of drinking gree tea, because to be quite frank, no one in the world actually "enjoys" green tea.

So, I'd add maybe a squirt of honey, or lemon juice (squeezed from a fresh one) to make it easier to swallow.
