My monitor's light is off!!!!
i have a ferrari acer lcd monitor... when i turn my computer on i can see the desktop very faintly, i have to take a flashlight and stick it on my screen to see anything... the lights off or sumthin.. ive tried all the display options and stuff reset everything, but its so hard to do cuz u cant see jack!! help! thanks
ahh thats hella gay..... yea i looked up this backlight stuff that seems to be it, but anyway of fixing it?? LCD monitor..

definitely sounds like a the monitor's backlight went bad. I found that you could possibly change out your screen's LCD inverter. The link below should be the solution to your problem, but you'll probably have to have some hardware/electronics experience.

sounds like the LCD backlight has failed. there really isn't anything you can do, you can talk to Acer about getting a replacement, or get a new monitor. Sorry.

if your monitor options are low/dim that means your monitor is going out. options for a monitor should always stay brighter regardless the settings you have set.

it could even that you need to change the settings on the monitor and turn up the brightness
