Why do we need our icky gooey oil in our face?!?

Perspiration and also because that is how our skin keeps moisture. Having some oil on your face is definitely a good thing! If you ever feel uncomfortable with your skin being too oily, use oil blotting sheets (clean and clear makes some good ones, same with a bunch of other brands) and that will help keep you from being "greasy".

What happens with your skin is if you don't use a moisturizer, you will automatically reproduce and excessive amount of oil to the skin to compensate for the protection. So try a good oil free moisturizer or even one that has a little hydration base. That will usually fix the problem and block your oil ducts from producing as much!!
