red dots on body?!?!?

Hey my wife has strangely gotten some little red dots mainly on her stomach, and also on her neck and arms and has gotten some red lines on her collar bone. She says they are not itchy or anything just there. Is this an allergic reaction to something or a disease? Any answers would help. Thx.

    It may be Karatosis Palaris

It is when u have little red dots or "chicken bumps" on your skin commonly found but not limited to the face, arms, and legs.

Just by a little cream I use KP Doctor. I got it at ULTA

Does she take a lot of aspirin? A while ago, I noticed I had these really tiny red, pin-prick sized dots on my arms and my doctor said it is called petechiae, which can results from many things but in my case it was from too much aspirin. They happen when blood vessels rupture and you bleed into your own skin a little bit, causing little red dots.

Hard to say if it's the same thing since I can't actually see them and compare them to my own. However, you should watch over them and take her to the doctor if they get worse.

She may need to have her blood tested. About a year ago I started getting red dots on my body called petechia (Not sure how to spell it but you could look up pictures and compare), and it turned out that my platelet count was dangerously low. Platelets cause you blood to clot. The petechia were just broken blood vessels under the skin, caused by me scratching my skin or running into things, like bruises. I would strongly! suggest getting a blood test!
