What are specials tips for playing Counter strike?

play your freaking brains out. the more you play the better you will get. you'll find out ways of doing things your own way. not every one does things the same and that's what makes you unique!, ive been playing cs for about 5 years now and im pro. when i first started out i was getting owned all the time and i got frustrated and so finally i just started to play non stop for weeks and weeks at a time, just learning my own moves and watching how things went on in the game. typically using a slower shot gun will allow you to be more accurate, go out side and through rocks at a can and see how accurate you are. if you just look and shoot your never going to hit any thing you have to aim and be on your toes at all time your gonna get shot if your not always looking around you. now eventually you'll be able to use the giant machine gun that's horrible at accuracy and get head shots from 200 yards away its just cause you know whats going to happen next. just play play play play, naturally the more you do something the better you get so just play and eventually you'll be high ranking in servers.

Try to predict players behavior so you are prepared for them, although you will have to wait until you're online to do this. I can also suggest using angles and corners to your advantage because that will give you the upper hand. Practice your spray patterns too because if you ever get in a situation where there are more enemies that a controlled burst can kill an accurate spray would really help. To do this just load up a map and shoot at a wall and look at the bullet patterns. Do it again and pull down slightly and keep on adjusting your pull down until the majority of bullets end up in the same place. If you want 2 go 4 headshots, use the Schmidt (Steyr) Scout, it is the cheapest sniper rifle, and it even though it is bolt-action, it fires way faster than the Arctic Warfare Magnum (AWP).

The Scout is really hard 2 get used 2, so u will need 2 do a great deal of "training" with bots.

The Scout will ONLY kill with a single shot 2 the head, so u must go 4 headshots. Because of its shortcomings, u will get heaps of compliments if u can use a scout well.

In general the best sidearm is the Night Hawk .50c (Desert Eagle .50AE).

The automatic shotgun and d auto snipers are considered noob weapons.

For assault rifles, go 4 the AK47 and M4A1.

The HK MP5 is probably the best SMG, though u may b tempted by the FN P90.

Get a mike and start making random unneccesery sounds and while they start typing something like "SHUT UP" aim at their big heads and shoot it!
