What is the deal with that ape-guy in the Geico commercials - why is he so pissed with Geico? ?
I must have missed a few that explained the reason or....

The ape-guy is supposed to be a cave man. The original ad said that buying insurance from Geico is "so easy a cave man could do it." Then they showed the cave man complaining to an ad executive that the ad was insulting.

He's pissed because they belittled the caveman in their ads - and now he has to actually buy car insurance from them since their rates are the best lol (just the first part, actually - like everyone else is saying)

Hes been offended by the slogan "So easy an caveman can do it"
It's like saying so easy a white redneck idiot from the backwoods of kentucky can do it. Come to think of it that might have been better

He is a caveman and the logo used to be gieko so easy a caveman can do it... it really offened him
