At What Age Did Ur Parents Let U Start 2 Date?

im 13 and i just had a bf.... but i broke up with him yesterday :(

anyway... my parents didnt know and we kept it a secret so we were ok.

My parents were never concerned, I had my first girlfriend in 5th grade, but never had a serious relationship until my freshman year. Any reasonable parent realizes that prior to highschool the relationship isn't anything real so they generally don't worry about it, and once your in highschool you SHOULD be mature enough too handle a somewhat serious relationship, I've been with my girl for 6 months now, I see her 6 days a week so it's rather serious, oh and I'm 16 now, 17 in july.

That sucks. I started dating when I was a freshman in high school. My parents didn't care unless the girl was a h** or something. You should just talk to them about it. Let them know that you're responsible and they should give you a chance before you get way older and when you're on the dating scene you won't know how to handle it.

I'm 14 turning 15 next week but I'm not allowed to date yet..They think that I'm gonna go have sex with the guy and get pregnant and drop out of school..it's sad.

Talk to your parents about inviting him over for dinner so that they can meet him and decide whether they like him or not. They are probably still not ready to let you "grow up" to much, and many parents really think that they have control over their kids' love life (which they do not).

So talk to your parents, and compromise for him to come over for dinner. If they guy is truly worth it, then he will come over and please your parents. But if you are too scared and do not want to do it, then you are not ready to be dating.

17 damn you should already be dating and i never had a age to start dating but i still kept it from my parents for a while till i met this one older guy and i had to tell them or i wouldnt be able to see him cause he is 7 years older than me.. but i finally told them and he is the love of my life and we have been together for a while and having a baby...

keep it from them unless you have to tell them to see the person or really fall in love

14 and even though my dad knew him, my mom said she had to meet him first. A lot of parents won't let their children date at all. They have to wait until 18.
