Has anyone else noticed, that since the election result, this site has suddenly gone very quiet politically?

Yep, they seem to be licking those wounds and trying to figure out how the American people got so smart all of a sudden. You see, the republicans thought they had the American people totally brainwashed into thinking ONLY the republicans were smart enough to govern the people. They think they are the only ones with brains enough to do so. So, when the democrats won, they are still in shock and trying to figure out what happened.

I simply know a few folks who have gotten tired of the bogus violation notices here.

Sure, we can get them over turned when you fill out the report.........but that is time comsuming and was just getting tedious.

And we don't want our accounts suspended just because some crybabies are sore McCain lost, and don't LIKE what we say about Bush, or Palin. There is nothing to "report"......and if they don't like what we say....that is what the thumbs down button is for.......but of course, some trolls just hit "report" instead.......when there is , in fact, NO VIOLATION, and the bogus question, was , in fact, answered.

But they don't care.........because they are on their 200th Level one account......and level 5, 6 or 7..........takes alot of effort.

why risk your account to such trolls??? So alot of regulars have abandoned this category.....because it's just a hotbed for negative trolls. And besides, the election is over......and most of what is posted, is either rubbish, or has been asked to death.

and of course, as you mentioned, can't be any fun for the republicans these days, trying to defend their totally defeated position......so yeahhhhhhhhh, it's gotten much quieter........but the die-hards are still here. I expect no fewer than 3 million questions, linking Obama to this news of the day, about the Gov, in Ill. ........

some are already indicting Obama........(geeeshhhhhh)

and that's the final nail in the coffin here........the utter predictability of the questions....the anti-Obama zinger of the day.

There's negative, and all, but generally what gets posted around here and defended as "negative" is actually racist, libelous and/or recitation of other garbage already proven untrue.

And even more often, a ranting pile of gibbering idiocy, and not an actual question or an answer.

No were still here! Have you noticed on yahoo news our Govt. is expecting a chemical or biological attack in the next few years. I heard something the other day about a attack the would be greater then 9/11 !! Do you think Obama's going to send our military out to attack his Muslim Brothers to prevent any of this. My answer is he will be very slow and week in responding.

Republicans do not ever have anything to talk about.

I guess they were hurt that no one cared about Bill Ayers or Rev Wright but them.

So now all they do is insist that we do not know who Obama is.

Actually I thinking Yahoo Answers has become more conservative than it used to be...

But I think its because conservatives have an unspoken pact here to report other people's stuff to YA... not sure...
