Help - CBS Morning Show aired a story March, April, May? 2008 was about large scale photos?
From what I remember he was shooting "large scale" photos of smaller type towns - this guy was amazing using cranes and other equipment - sprinkled a few poeple in the shots. I'm just interested in seeing more of his work. I have pulled nearly all of my hair out in trying to think of the name of this artist. Thanks for the help

I didn't see the program, but from your description, it sounds like Gregory Crewdson.
Crewdson is known for his elaborately staged scenes. Some are done on location, incorporating found elements into the final image. Others are done in studios where he has to construct an entire set for the image.
Crewdson photographs with an 8x10 view camera - that's a camera that produces a negative that is 8x10 inches. As a result, his images are highly detailed and can stand enlargement to significant size. He uses a fairly large crew - not at all unlike the production crew for a movie. His role is visualizing the final image - he doesn't actually hold the camera and in fact one of the members of his crew is the camera operator.
Typically, Crewdson produces 6-8 prints of each final image. His prints sell for very high prices!

I missed that, but it sounds interesting. I suppose you have already tried searching if there are archives or show descriptions on the CBS Morning Show website? That would be my only suggestion I can think of to tell you to try.
