Took two home test and they came back + and then I stared bleeding yesterday?

Question

well i took 2 home tests because i was late on my period and and we have been trying to get pregnant for about a month, they all came out positive...but i  started spotting a little on 12/10, so i called the docs and they said as long as it isnt heavy I was fine. And when I got up yesterday it was alot heavier, so they told me to come in. they had me take a blood test and ultrasounds and she checked my cervix to make sure it was closed and it was. i found out  im only a week pregnant. Today it looks exactly like a period and feels like a period and the doctors said to come back on Monday the 15th to have more blood test and another ultrasound to see if im still pregnant or if i miscarried. 

I was just wondering do u think its a miscarriage or is it possible to have a period while your pregnant??? This is my 2nd pregnancy. and with my first it was so easy. Everything went great.

Hey hun, thats what happened to me!! I missed my period, took a test and it was a faint positive so I called the DR, and went in and took a urine test and blood. The urine was a faint positive as well. And the blood test said I was only a week prego. But my hCG levels didn't double every 48 hours like they are suppose to, and exactly 1 week after going to the dr's I ended up miscarrying. It started out as light spotting, then got heavier with clots. I went to the hospital, they did 2 ultra-sounds, and in between the 2 I had to empty my bladder, and thats when I finished out with the MC. Everything that was left in there was emptied out. Then 1 week after that I went back for another hCG and tested at 0. Which meant I had a MC, and it was over. 
So back to the TTC board we go!! And I just now (yesterday) got my period for the 1st time since October 6th. 

I am def. in the same boat. With my 1st I was 11weeks before I missed my period, and even found out I was pregnant!! everything was soo smooth. But now...GEEZ...it's like the whole world knows my body! 
Anyway..GOOD LUCK! It sounds to me like a MC..and I am SORRY! It's the most devasting thing any women has to go through!!! Just keep your head up and remember *you can get pregnant, this is just Gods way os saying that something wasn't right*

While only the doctor can tell you for sure, it does sound like an early miscarriage.  I'm sorry. 

Early miscarriages ARE very common.  Most women will have at least one. So, while it's sad and disappointing, don't start worrying that something is wrong.  If you've had one successful pregnancy, odds are greatly in your favor that you will have another.

I have miscarried twice,it sounds more like a miscarriage because the bleeding is heavy. It is possible to have a monthly while pregnant but it's usually light not heavy. I with you the best.

I'm not sure sweetie, I just wanted to tell you that I hope everything turns out ok...it would make for a nice Christmas for you! I will be praying for you, keep us posted. If you don't want to wait until the 15th and you have insurance, maybe you could go to a walk in emergency clinic or go to the hospital. Let them know that you already have confirmed pregnancy and you are bleeding heavily.
