Imagine Twilight was never published.....?

No book, it is not like you can replace the book and get the same reaction, every author wants this reaction to their books but they don't all get it, if Twilight was never published there just wouldn't be the obsession

now this might be only me but i like her other book better. "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer. it's the better written work and it's more original whereas twilight, anyone can read and there's nothing spectacular about the storyline. it's just overrated. but i'm glad not everyone's into the host or it will be like the new twilight, and i will be just like everyone else. but i'm not. haha. sorry for not answering your question but you should give The Host a try if you're looking for another book to read.

Harry Potter.

The other books like Gossip Girl and Uglies and all those other mediocre books just don't cut it. They sit in the shelf because SOMETHING needs to take 2nd-and-so-on place. It's just a way of life.

But, then again, Happy Potter is rather old (but still excellent); so maybe someone else would take Stephenie's place.

In a few years, maybe it'll be me. I'm planning on being bigger and better than Stephenie and J.K. Rowling comined. Bring it, media and general public, I'm ready.

I would like to say classics like To Kill A Mockingbird or Wuthering Heights... but sadly I would have to say something like the Gossip Girl series or some other vampire-love story saga.

But it would be better than this crazed Twilight madness. Gosh.

Wouldn't the world just be to peaceful if Twilight was never published.

There probably would be no more obsessions unless Harry Potter fans go mad.

It would still be all about Harry Potter I think... perhaps the time hasn't yet come for the Next Big Book. It will happen eventually. Maybe it has yet to be written. Who knows?

the world would be searching for something to obsess over. most girls dont even prefer twilight, they just read it or say they love it because their friends liek it, or its the "in thing" to like.
