help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really need answers.?

okay i have trend micro pc-cillin internet security 14 (which is outed). so i decided to download norton security scan (free, which removes viruses), but my question is i want to keep both.. but will they conflict each other? they havn't yet so i was just wondering will there be any problems? ps. when im on nortons main menu and i click on help or upgrade it says failed to launch link. what does this mean?

    Norton is **** and will mess up your computer. My laptop shut itself down to avoid internal damage because of that poor excuse of a program.
