Im really freaked out!!! What is going on?

OK, So I pumped for about 4 1/2 months after my son was born. He was a preemie. I wanted to do it for a year... BUT unfortunately I just stopped producing. I tried like EVERYTHING to bring it back. Nothing worked. Well Today I was in the shower and all of a sudden, I just started leaking...So I got my pump out and pumped and got about an ounce.... WHY? What the heck? I tried EVERYTHING.... What is going on? Did this happen to anyone? I mean, really I didn't even get anything. TMI-- I asked my hubby when we have sex, did any come out when he would suck on them? He said no, none! SO please, can someone help me?

Update:

Im almost for sure IM NOT pregnant! Im not on birth control, we are using protection and I just had a period almost 2 weeks ago.

I was dry! I mean, REALLY dry. Its not just a drop, I got an 1 whole ounce!

Update 2:

Yup, I have fenugreek. It didnt work! I also tried RX drugs! Nothing worked! He wont latch, I have tired A LOT! I havent been trying anyhting for a long time. It just started coming out. SO I pumped to see what I got. I had NO problem with the Milk supply when I was pumping. I got about 52oz a day! WHICH is a lot! Then when he was about 4 1/2 months old, it just stoppped! SO thats when I started trying everything, and nothing worked!

You said you tried everything, have you looked at natural remedies that can encourage milk production? There are seeds such as aniseed and fenugreek that can have a beneficial effect and lots more, look it up. Are you looking after yourself as well? You need to eat well and make sure you get enough rest. It is also a question of supply and demand, the more milk is demanded, the more will be produced so if you keep trying to breastfeed your little one but maybe more often for shorter periods, supply may go up again. Some women have started producing milk again a month or so after they stopped. But your production may be low. Do you still notice any difference in your breasts, do they get bigger as a sign that milk is up? Also, it may be harder to stimulate milk production with a pump, the body seems to respond more to a baby feeding and I always found that it was quite hard to get it right with a pump to get the milk flowing as easily and quickly as it seemed to go when my daughter was feeding. Don't worry if it doesn't work, you gave your son a great start despite him being premature and any little extra he can get is good, so if you're happy with it, why not see if he still wants to breastfeed a little bit and top up with the bottles?

Sometimes you just don't entirely dry up and what is produced takes weeks and weeks and is just a few drops anyway.

I haven't nursed in a year and still can squeeze a few drops out here and there.

you may desire to communicate on your mom or yet another relied on grownup - do no longer attempt to offer your self an abortion - you are able to continuously have this baby and the two do the to blame element and raise your baby (the father might ought to help atleast financially) or you have gotten this toddler and supply it up for adoption to a pair accessible who easily need infants yet for some reason are no longer able to accomplish that. in case you weren't waiting to handle probable getting pregnant you mustn't have been having intercourse in the 1st place.

  • Are you on birth control? I was told that being on birth control will prevent you from producing.
