Advantages and disadvantages of parthenogenesis?

Well it is an advantage because only one organism is required to create a population. No energy is wasted in having to find a mate. Parthenogenesis creates a duplicate offspring, it can pass down all mutated genes. It does not allow the organism to evolve to its environment through the process of natural selection. Parthenogenic organisms require stable environments to survive. Some organisms such as tapeworms are not mobile and could not reproduce without this process.
