hey, was just wondering what gets classed as chatting on yahoo? i asked a question about if anyone noticed that in skins pandora's doughnut changed colour. i picked my best answer and then a few days later it gets deleted, i appealed and they said it was chatting!! it was a perectly valid question!! im majorly peed off, plus they sent me the email, about it being declined, twice and ive had 20 points take off me! yahoo answers is taking the piss!!!

:o thats shocking the same thing happened to me one and i lost an appeal and it was a perfectly appropriate question :/ it does pee you off your quite right & i noticed her doughnut changed colour lol x

Your question wasn't knowledge-worthy and advice seeking, and so it was deleted as a result. This is already a waste of other users' time.

Here are the following examples of chatting:
-How (are you, old are you, was your day, is everyone today)? 
-What are you/What am I (doing, thinking of, wearing, etc.)? 
-Guess my/Can you guess my/What's your (name, age, sex, weight, birthday, location, etc.)? 
-Who is from…/Who plays …here/Who wants to chat 
-Do you like my (avatar, web site, poem, etc.)?* 
-Who wants to celebrate my birthday, drivers license, first 100 points, level 7? 
-Where is user (nickname) gone? 
-Avatar games and games of any nature

That was a bad idea to appeal the violation. It was valid and credible. Customer Care was right to deny your appeal and charged you 10 points for it-on top of a 10-point penalty for posting the chatty question.

asking a question is chatting apparently, best way around that is not to ask any questions,lol
i got 2 violations yesterday for the same answer
