How Not To Get The Stomach Flu?

My mom got the stomach flu 2day...... I havent been around her much 2day xcept @ dinner and tht was b4 she actually thought she had it.... OK so my questions are

1) will i get it?

2) how can i not get it?

3) could i already have it?

I am asking this cuz i CANNOT get sick!!! my 1st softball game of the season is thursday and on friday my class is going 2 disney 4 the day (i live in south florida) plus i am terrified of others puking/me puking..... PLEASE HELP ME!!!

p.s.- if this helps i dont get sick much like when i rarely get sick its just a cold.... and i havent thrown up in like 6 and a half years!!

Update:

Also what are some signs before you get it... last night i had a lot of minor burps (not hiccups tho) but tht happens sometimes anyway...... also i think im having pains in my lower stomach but im not sure it could just be hysteria (making myself thinking im sick cuz my mom is)

I really need 2 know if im sick cuz i dont want 2 go 2 school sick

Ok there is no telling if you will get it or not, but here are a few things you can do, wash your hands a lot, and long, don't touch any clothing or anything else from your mom and take vit C, and cook your own meals, and wash your hands. good luck hope you stay well. I had it a few weeks ago, my sons family had it and i washed their clothes and got it the same night i washed the clothes, so it gets you fast. get lots of sleep and keep your immune system up. And good luck.
