will a fainted pokemon still evolve?
if i level the pokemon up to its evolving level and it faints would it still evolve regardless?

Yes sir, only if it is alive when it levels, then it can die.

It it gets to the proper level before fainting in the same battle? Yes. But fainted pokemon don't gain EXP.

i think only the pokemon that evolve when fainted are ones by elemental stones but it might say "it have no affect"
