What Kiwi flavours/ ingredients can I add to ANZAC biscuits?

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make ANZAC biscuits distinctly Kiwi - or is it impossible? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

You could add chopped dried kiwi fruit to the recipe and see if this makes a difference. I personally prefer chopped dried peaches and sometimes I add crystalised ginger. Delicious.

ANZAC is a synthesis of NZ and Aussie working together for the noblest causes ... but given the friendly brotherly rivalry between the two, we can tweak the Kiwi made ANZAC biscuits a tad by using the best and freshest grown in Otago rolled oats! .. hehe! :)

    Hello,

I would use Nektalite at 20 gms per kg to give a true Kiwi flavour and will also help in the shelf life of the product.

    Visit www.nekta.com for more information.

It's an ANZAC bicuit - surely it is by virute of its name distinctively kiwi! Why not just join the Australians on this - its a shared tribute and a shared holiday and a shared respect for the soldiers.

Add finely chopped dehydrated kiwi, maybe 30 grams, and 1 - 2 palmfuls of white choc chips?

Expiriment! I never use measures or recipes, sometimes it just turns out edible, sometimes it's astoundly delicious!
