Does anyone else think a complete answer in the Homework Help category hurts the Asker in the long run?

As long as the complete answer is step by step and easy enough for the asker to learn for future questions of the same sort, then I don't see a problem.

However, when people post about 20 of the same questions (mainly happens with math questions) then that is just taking the rip and they clearly don't want to learn anything.

Yes. Lots of time I'll show the asker how to find the answer, rather than giving it to her.

well, yes and no. i see your point of asking this question though, because if a kid gets a compleat answer then writes it on a test and gets the question right but dosnt understand it at all thats not too good, but chances are if a kid does that the teach will realize that he doesnt understand and help him learn it in a while.

Yes, I agree. Nothing wrong with tips and guidance, but they don't learn if you do the homework for them.
