Is Manny Pacquiao a Living Legend now?

Last 2 May 2009 history was made. Manny PACMAN Pacquiao won his fourth lineal championship and a title in six weight classes now.

There is no other fighter/boxer, I repeat, there is no other boxer, DEAD OR ALIVE, that has done this extra ordinary feat. Pac achieved this in devastating fashion and without dcking anyone.

I believe that he is truly a LIVING LEGEND now and possibly the best, most gifted and smartest boxer that ever lived!

- Won 6 world titles in different divisions tying the record with De La Hoya.

- Won 5 of 6 world titles by KO.

- KO'd 3 former olympians (DLH, Diaz, Ledwaba), 2 of which were for the world title.

- Only fighter in history to win both flyweight and featherweight world titles.

- Defeated Hall of famers: Hatton, DLH, Marquez, Barrera, Morales

- Fought and won at 10 different weight divisions, starting at light flyweight (106 lbs).

- KO'd fighters from light flyweight to welterweight divisions (106 lbs - 147 lbs).

- First boxer in history to win 4 Lineal Championship titles. (Sugar Ray Leonard, PBF, and DLH are the only other 3 time lineal champs).


Regardless of all the haters out there, Manny Pacquiao is the best pound 4 pound champ today, hands down. Watch his fights while he lasts... You ARE watching a living legend.

i think it's too early to tell. yes he is the best to date but we must take into consideration that there are many things and people Pacman should fight with.

once he calls it a career then we all have the right to place him somewhere in the boxing history books. with all these hype going on with manny, it will change soon when the unexpected happens.

Calzaghe is a legend, you gotta be kidding!  Which of his fights qualified him as a legend for you ? The one were he decisioned  a 39 yr. old Roy Jones Jr. who had been KO'd in 2 of his last 6 fights or was it the one were he decisioned an even older Bernard Hopkins who had recently twice lost to Jermain Taylor.

He is a living legend but i cannot yet call him the greatest boxer of of the last ten years as he hasn't fought Floyd mayweather yet. If manny beats Floyd than he will be the best boxer but vice versa to Floyd v manny.
