Just wondering how many guys out there?
How many guys out there are circumcised? Do you like it that way, or do you wish you were still intact?

I was circumcised at 18, so been there and have the t-shirt!It was done in office and was in and out in under an hour. No sports or sex for a month, but well worth it. There is no downside to being circumcised only an upside.I would do it again in a NY minute. It is cleaner (uncircumcised guys can clean 3x a day + and still have odor), it is healthier (uncircumcised guys are 60% more likely to acquire STD's and HIV during heterosexual intercourse), it looks better (no brainer) and sexually it is much better. There is no loss of sensitivity, that is only a scare tactic from the anti's. I can assure you, orgasms are much more intense when you are circumcised. There is nothing good about being uncut. It is a very easy and quick procedure as an infant and gives the child a lifetime of benefits. I had no hesitation to have my three boys (4,2 & NB) circumcised, because I know there is no downside just a big upside to being circumcised.
Being uncircumcised sucks and the uncut will never know what they are missing!

Jill Hello Dont know How many guys are circumcised. Dont know about others so Im happy my thing works. Maybe fore skin can be sewn back on. Take it off my butt since theres plenty extra. Guys Ive known intact say its fine, feels great 4 sex. Maybe intact guys have more problems down there. This may make interesting survey. Im wondering what women prefer, cut or un-cut.

I am not circumcised and am very glad about that. I am against it because I think it is an awful start to a new life. The foreskin is also an important part of the penis and he shouldn't have it taken away from him on the misconceived idea that removing it produces a health benefit. No medical association recommends it as it isn't a NET positive operation. It is also unethical to do it without his consent. here are reasons why it is best for boys to be left intact:

Care is a lot easier with intact boys as there is nothing to do. The foreskin is unretractable in infancy so it should be left alone. No cleaning under it or pulling it back is required. In fact, it is advised by doctors to just leave it alone:

Circumcised boys require a lot more care. Circumcised boys are in discomfort because there is an open wound. This wound can easily become infected. It can also become irritated by ammonia in the urine. The severed skin can re-attach to form a skin bridge. Basically it is a whole lot of extra hassle (that usually nobody tells you about).

There is also likely to be negative psychological effects to circumcision:
http://www.cirp.org/library/psych/goldman1/
Circumcision removes a functioning part of the penis:
The foreskin contains many specialized nerves on it's underside. When the foreskin is moved up and down it is very pleasurable. Circumcised men have lost this ability to masturbate easily as there is no gliding effect. Circumcised men often have to resort to artificial lubrication in masturbation and sex. See here for the function of the foreskin:

Without the foreskin protecting the glans, circumcised men lose further sensitivity. The glans (head of the penis) dries out. It also brushes on underwear causing the skin to toughen. See here for the full damage done:

There are good reasons to believe that sex is better for the woman as well, if the man has his foreskin intact:

Men in Britain, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy, along with the rest of Europe don't get circumcised and they all do as good if not better than countries where circumcision is more common. So all in all it is best to be as nature intended. No medical association actually recommends non-therapeutic infant circumcision:

History: Non-religious circumcision only started in English-speaking countries in the late 1800's. The main reason was to prevent masturbation. More info can be found at this at this site:

Rates of circumcision:
Circumcision rates have dropped in the USA to 60%.
http://www.circumstitions.com/USA.html
In Canada and Australia the rate has dropped to less than 10%. In Britain the rate is less than 1%. Only 20-25% of the world are circumcised, 2/3 of these are Muslim.

I was circumcised at birth but have since restored my foreskin to full coverage. Restoration is the best thing I have ever done.
There is absolutely no way circumcised guys can have the same sensual feelings that a uncircumcised guy has.
Circumcision means that some of the most sensuous skin on the body it cut away and immediately the glans begins to dry up and callous over "The glans dries out and develops several extra layers of skin (keratinization)."
"The unnatural dryness of the circumcised penis can cause abrasion and bleeding during sex, whereas the moistness of the intact penis makes sex more comfortable, especially during penetration. For women with circumcised male partners, the problem of 'vaginal dryness' during sex may also be partly attributable to the unnatural dryness of the circumcised penis."
Circumcision is one of the biggest medical hoaxes ever perpetrated on the male sex.

I'm intact and would never consider Genital Mutilation of any type. Especially circumcision. Most circumcised males have no recall of something they never had, and so how could you blame them for thinking circumcision is not good.
It should be an election by a patient. While not against it outright, and I think its wrong to do. the real harm is that of it being imposed on males without their consent. In fact its torture. Torture our very government is so fond of practicing at all levels.
Cut males simply think what they are told. Having a foreskin a male becomes aware of its value right away. Even females boast of how natural it feels. Circumcision is genital mutilation, and cut males unfortunately cannot recall having their foreskin. Even so how could you balme any male from thinking they are great that way. It was not their fault anyway.
I may not get points for this because I am not cut, but that is my answer.

I am circumcised. I like it like this but it's all I've known. My boyfriend not circumcised, but I do think circumcised penises are more attractive... our son will be circumcised, I've heard it helps little boys to keep it clean if it is cut. I don't consider it "genital mutilation" at all like some do.

I am and I love it. It looks better, feels better and is easier to clean. I had it down when I was born so I can't recall ever haveing it intact.

I love being circumcised it makes my penis more sensitive and my gf says that since my penis is bent to the left during sex it's better for her because it rubs on her wall.
